Thank you for spending time with my online universe. Please allow me to introduce myself:

My name is Jesper Ranum. Experienced producer, songwriter, synthesizer wiz & media composer.

I bought my first synthesizer in 1976 and were among the pioneers using synthesizers, sequencing and sampling on the Danish pop music scene.

I have been involved in band experiences such as the innovative electronic outfit "Scatterbrain" and the fully hyped pop phenomenon "DéFilm". This lead on to years of work as a studio musician, arranger and producer on numerous well-known Danish albums.

In 1987 I launched Ranum Studio - a pro electronic music and recording facility for the music & media industries. Now primarily used for in-house content-creating activities.

I have written 2 books  and a range of articles on the subject of electronic musical instruments and have been regularly lecturing this in cooperation with Musikkonservatoriet and Danmarks Radio.

My quite exhausting media references combined with a huge artistic output, technical & systems expertise and a deep knowledge of the music and media industries gives me a good foundation for going "the next step".

So I currently concentrate my energy on building a personal music and artwork universe that can act both as an artistic outlet and a platform for business and new ideas.
