Jesper Ranum

Jesper Ranum is among the most experienced producers, songwriters, studio wizards & media composers around. After buying his first synthesizer in 1976, he pioneered the large scale use of sequencing, sampling and electronic instruments in the danish pop music scene.
Moving on to band experiences such as innovative electronic outfit Scatterbrain and the fully hyped pop phenomenon DéFilm. This again lead to years of work as a studio musician, arranger and producer on numerous well-known danish albums.
Established Ranum Studios in 1989 - a full service pro recording facility serving the music & media industries. Now primarily used for for Jesper's own content-creating activities.
Combining exhausting media references with a huge artistic output, technical expertise and a unique knowledge of the music and media industries.
Jesper has written 2 books on the subject of electronic musical instruments and has been regularly lecturing this in cooperation with Musikkonservatoriet and Danmarks Radio.
